How to use them

    Print at actual size

    Choose 100% or "Actual size" — "Fit to page" shrinks every shape. Measure the 50 mm line at the foot of the page to check.

    Plan your layout

    Lay your pictures into the shapes in Canva, Word or your printer software, or print on plain paper to check how a design fits the treat.
  3. 3

    Print the real thing

    Print your finished design on a clean icing sheet or wafer paper at the same size, then cut along the shapes.

Every page uses the same spacing as the CakeyTops topper editor, so a design laid out there lines up with the template exactly. Not sure which size you need? The edible image size chart covers each treat — and opens any size straight in the editor, free to design.

Frequently Asked Questions

Are the edible image templates really free?

Yes. Enter your email and both PDFs download straight away. Ticking the box to hear about new templates is optional.

How do I print the templates at the right size?

Choose 100% or "Actual size" in the print dialog, never "Fit to page". Each page has a 50 mm line along the bottom — measure it to check the print is to scale.

Can I print the templates onto icing sheets?

They are made for planning and layout: print on plain paper to check sizes, or use a page as a guide in Canva, Word or your printer software. The labels and scale line would print on an icing sheet too, so put your final design on a clean sheet.

A4 or US Letter?

Use whichever your icing sheets are cut to — most UK and European sheets are A4, most US frosting sheets are Letter. The pack comes in both.
